Katey Cooper

Katey is a native of the Muncie area. She is in her Senior year at Ball State University studying Business Administration. She runs her own valet laundry company and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her community service initiative is Loads of Love: Community Laundry Empowerment and Necessities (CLEAN). She began Loads of Love through a community business incubator. She pitched and launched the initiative to meet a real need for accessible laundry services. What began as a small idea has grown into a full-time job, employing local residents, paying off student debt, and restoring dignity and hope in the community.
